Player Conduct

1. Respect Others

• Treat others with respect and decency.
• If someone is harassing or bothering you, just report them on the discord via a ticket, do not retaliate. It is recomended that you "/ignore" any player that is bothering you.
  • Do not attempt to contact anyone who has blocked you. This includes contacting them though the server's discord.
• Report other players through proper means, this included directly messaging a staff member, or through a ticket in our discord.
  • Any sensitive issues/topics, or reports on staff members can be reported via a Management ticket.
  • Do not argue or retaliate with anyone breaking the rules, just report them and move on. 

2. Keep It Clean

• No forms of harassment, excessive swearing, sexual content, hate speech, racism, or discussing sensitive topics.
• Some sensitive topics include: Self-harm, religion, politics, drugs, violence.
• Some sexual content includes: Inappropriate usernames, builds, renamed items, and skins.
• You are free to talk about anything in private chats, so long as all parties involved consent.
  • Even in private chats, you are still expected to respect other's boundaries.
• Do not /ignore, or block staff members as it can obstruct moderation.

3. Begging, Advertising, Spamming

• You may advertise 1 in-game thing every 30 minutes per person and per location.
• Only official server links are allowed in game.
  • Partnered content such as vote site links are allowed in game.
• Examples of spamming includes:
  • Excessive use of capitalization
    
    • Long sentences in all caps, or continuous use of capitalization.
    • A few all caps messages, especially short ones, are okay. 
  • Identical or extremely similar messages.
  • Messages of mainly random letters, numbers, or symbols. Eg. “kfrnuygh!/59au.hr9tu5:8hf”
• Chat color and type needs to be easily readable for chat moderation purposes.
  • Do not use obfuscated, bold, underline, or hard to read colors such as dark shades of black for chat color. Italics are allowed.

4. English Only In Chat

• Our staff team can not be expected to moderate languages outside of English.
• Non-english messages are allowed in private messages (/msg <username>).

Cheats & Exploits

5. No Hacking, Exploiting, Or Bug Abuse

• Some examples include: X-ray, fly, kill aura, botting, free-cam.
• Allowed Cients/Mods
  • Fullbright
  • Mini-map, waypoints, or anything that displays information already available in the F3 menu.
  • Lunar Client, Feather Client, Badlion.
  • Peformance/FPS increasers
• Any exploits that arise from bugs with any plugins or vanilla Minecraft features such as duping can not be used and must be reported. Rewards will be given based on severity.

6. No automation of the player

• This includes botting, key weights, and auto-clickers.
• Farm Rules
  • Fully automatic farms are allowed if for vanilla Minecraft items.
  • Fully automatic farms for jobs or any other form of money grinding are not allowed, and some amount of manual work is required.
    • Eg. Fishing Machines are not allowed. (Even if your mouse manually being held down as its difficult to verify it's not key weighting)
    • If the farm is indistinguishable between autoclickers or a keyweight, then it is not allowed. You must actively be doing something such as moving around to refilling or emptying containers. 
• Litematica (Schematics and auto-placing.
  • The use of Litematica's easy-place is allowed.
    • Just be aware that features that swap items to your hotbar may result in infinite blocks disappearing.
    • Although it places things for you, you should still be active and moving on your own.
  • The use of any of Litematica's printer modes is not allowed.

Claims & Greif Prevention

7. No Griefing Anywhere

• Includes both claimed and unclaimed land.
  • The exception to this is the Resource Worlds, they have all claims disabled, therefore anything left unattended is considered to be abandoned, and any player that discovers it is free to take from it.
• Mass destruction of the main worlds is also considered to be griefing. Do any forms of destructive resource harvesting in the resource worlds.
• No filling other players inventories with unwanted items.
  • This includes mass dropping items at spawn that other players may pickup by mistake.

8. Claims

• Do not claim, or build, within 100 blocks of an existing claim without permission from the claim owner.
  • Failure to do so may result in the removal of your claim.
  • Alert staff of rule breaking claims early, if they remain for to long, staff may not remove them.
• You may request for the removal of inactive claims to be removed.
• Do not trespass onto claims. Ignoring requests to leave, or bypassing noenter, may result in punishment.

9. No random PvP

• PvP MUST be consented to.
  • If you agree to specific rules for the PvP, you must follow them.
• You automatically consent by entering any CLEARLY marked PvP zones such as /warp PvP.
  • Do not teleport or trick players to a PvP area to fight them
  • Do not fight from outside PvP zones such as spectator areas.
    • Do not start fighting, then instantly run back into a non-PvP zone.
• Hitting someone else, even once, allows them to either hit or kill you back, though it is recommended you just report them, as fights may get confusing to review.

Using any items that negatively affect other players in non-PvP is considered to be a form of unconsented PvP and griefing.

Economy & Trading

10. No Scamming or Impersonation

• Scamming is using any dishonest methods to trick players into deals they would otherwise not have agreed to.
  • Some examples include: lying about the value of item's, severely mispricing items to a player who lacks pricing knowledge, or renaming an item to look like a different item.
• Low-balling or high-balling offers are allowed. It is ultimately up to you to know the value of items. If you do not know the value of an item, it is recommended you do not trade at all.
• Impersonating includes using "/nick" to pretend to be someone else.
  • Doing this to staff members is especially not allowed, and WILL result in punishment.
• No real world trading.
  • This includes trading in-game money or items for any real world currency and assets.
  • Trading in-game money or for someone to buy you a rank or keys from the server store is allowed.
• Cross server trading is allowed, but not at all supported.
  • If you get scammed during one of these trades, you will not be reimbursed, and no punishments will be issued.

11. Shop and Economy

• No troll/useless player warps or auction house listings.
• Paying players to rate your shop is allowed, but you are NOT allowed to pay players to rate others shops.
  • Do not use alt accounts to rate shops.
• Do not advertise your shop or player warp on the auction house.
• Only make shops on claims you own, or have permission to do so on.
  • Failure to abide by this may result in the removal of said shops, and punishment.
• Player Warps
  • You can report any player warps with extremely similar names to your existing player warp.
    • eg. "/pw EggFarm" and "/pw EggFarms" would not be allowed.
    • eg "/pw Books" and "/pw FreeBooks" would be allowed since Book is a fairly common word.
  • Player warp names should be direct, and not include characters to inflate the name length or to appear at the top of search results.
    • eg "/pw !!!!!ducks!!!!!"
• Do not modify any items with the unmodifiable tag. This includes renaming, upgrading, or adding enchants on to the items.
  
  • This does not include items you are supposed to modify, such as unbreakable tools.
  • If you have a modified item, we encourage you to make a ticket to get it replaced.
• Anything that allows you to make money that is not intended by the server in any way is considered to be exploiting. This includes but is not limited to:
  • Converting mobs spawned from a spawner into mobs that pay from jobs.
  • Purposely bypassing the jobs block protection. (eg. Placing and then re-harvesting blocks for payment)
    • This does not apply for silked ores.
  • Hunter farms that make use of thorns to kill the mobs automatically.
• Do not bypass item cooldowns. This includes dropping the item to other players.
• Seeing through lava with any mods or resource packs is allowed.

12. Map Art and Art Maps

• Reselling others map art without there permission is not allowed.
• Map art, like any other builds, must be claimed. If they are not claimed they are considered to be abandoned, as well as griefing of the world.
  • Map art that is no longer wanted can be removed for $20k in a misc ticket. Make sure to specify the coords, and world.

13. Loaning rules

• Players are free to loan there items, cash, or services to others, but must do so at there own risk.
  • There's always the chance a player doesn't repay their loan, or return the items they were loaned.
  • Staff will attempt to retrieve said money or items, but they may not be able to retrieve some, or any of it.
• Be cautious of who you loan to.
  • Don't loan to new players, or players who are unaware of what is actually going on.
  • Don't loan a large amount of cash or items to one player.
• All deals should be proportional and fair to the items/money that is being loaned out.
• Don't continuously add interest payments just because the borrower isn't able to repay the loan.
• There should be an easy way for players to return any borrowed items, even if you're offline.
• Deals must always be documented thoroughly with proof.

Misc Rules

14. Alt-Acounts

• Alts are allowed, but must be logged off of the server above 30 online players.
• You may own multiple accounts, but only 2 of your accounts may be online at a time.
• Do not give yourself the starting money and claimblocks from any alt accounts.

15. No Mini-modding

• This includes moderating other players behavior on behalf of staff, especially if a staff member is already dealing with the situation.
  • eg. telling someone to stop trolling in chat if a staff member is already talking to said person.
• It is okay to remind players of the rules if you think they are actively being broken, but it is best to just open a ticket or find a moderator.
• Calling attention to any vanished staff members is considered interfering with staff duties, and will result in punishment.
  • Using any malicious methods to figure out if a staff member is online is not allowed.

16. Do not Bypass any Punishments 

• Joining with a different account after being banned will result in a harsher punishment.
• Do not use any forms of Minecraft communication while muted, such as books and signs.

17. VPN'S

• The usage of VPN's are allowed, but at risk of the player. Every time a player logs in, their IP is recorded, which has the risk of associating your username with a banned player. To avoid any issues, it is recommended that you do not use a VPN.
• Using a VPN to assist with bypassing any punishments is not allowed.

Lag Rules

• Any and all machines must be built as efficiently as possible to your ability to prevent unnecessary lag. 
• Chunk loaders are not allowed.
  • This includes stasis chambers, as ender pearls load chunks.
• Any machines or farms that use water sources that are constantly being retracted then deployed are not allowed.
• Chunk Limits
  • Any builds that are above these limits your build wont be destroyed or modified, you just wont be able to add more or modify the existing parts of the build until they are within the limits.
  • Bypassing the limits is not allowed, this includes other ranks to build for you. If you share a claim with someone who has higher limits, they must actively be using the claim if they use the higher chunk limits. 
  • Mobs: 24
    • This includes most types of mobs.
    • Mobs won't spawn after the limit has been reached.
    • Max entity cramming is currently set to 5

Some answers to the commonly asked questions!

Why are my votes not working?

If you are using Bedrock make sure you type your name as it appears in game. This means you will need to include the BR_ preifx when voting as its part of your username. The voting sites only allow one vote per IP address so if there are two people in the same household both won't be able to vote. To get past this one person will have to vote using a VPN

Will the server world ever reset?

The Overworld, Nether, and End will NEVER reset. If a new update comes out that changes world generation or if the map gets overpopulated over time, the world border will expand to reflect these changes. The resource world will be wiped every few months, though a notice will be given on the Discord.

How can I become staff?

Keep an eye on #annoucements to see when positions open up. Some things we always look for in staff members is activity, friendliness, and maturity. When you do apply, we will be looking at how well you showed those traits.
